So I've burned one week of my vacation time doing house projects and I actually get to go somewhere for my second week (which isn't until August). However, there are now issues with going to our original destination. The first three days we're spending with friends in Dover, De as it will be the last time we'll see them for 3 years. (They're being stationed in Guam and with the last price of airline tickets I saw, I doubt we'll be flying to the South Pacific to see them while they're gone.) Does anyone have any suggestions for a nearby city that has tourist attractions? I'm looking for somewhere withing 2 hours of Dover, but preferably not further north.
